This petition seeks to improve the safety and security of apartment tenants of Ridge45 in Traverse City, Michigan.

The Ridge45 apartment community includes families, single women, children, young professionals, etc. We as a community believe Ridge45 needs to improve measures of safety and security given some of the recent events that have occurred.

Recent events include but are not limited to: kidnapping, rape, attempted murder, mail theft, and a multitude of vehicle break-ins.

I, Kristyn Moore, am a victim of a vehicle break-in while living at Ridge45. I felt violated; I was the victim, yet I was blamed because of someone else's despicable actions. I am also a victim of mail theft at Ridge45.

Myself and other Ridge45 tenants wish for Ridge45 to equip the apartment complex with sufficient surveillance cameras. We believe this will provide more safety and security in our daily living at the apartment complex.

We want to make a change in the community for any future single moms, children, and many others who wish to live and rent from Ridge45 in Traverse City, Michigan.
