Who am I 
Tallrickyworldwide from Cape town Khayelitsha Site C I'm an artist, unique hiphop artist to be specific. I describe the sound as a unicorn very rare to find.
 
What inspires me?
 
I was inspired by the late pop legend Michael Jackson at an early age, my mom used to buy me Michael Jackson DVD’s. I used to be an introvert so I'd stay for days alone in my house watching these DVD’s & since then, my love for music grew but I can't say it started at an early age because the love for music came from the heart since then.
 
Why do I deserve to be put on?
 
I believe that I'm the hope of the streets because of the kids that believe in me. I want to show them that anything is possible even if you are from the ghettos you can make it out. Personally, it's more than just a fest, for me it would be a life changing opportunity for the world to hear me. Most importantly, my performance at the COTTON FEST, wouldn’t only change my life but it would also change my families life. My mom who’s a single parent and works hard to provide for my four siblings and I, she deserves everything. I cannot wait for the world to hear me. I plan on moving my mom out the ghetto & give her the life she deserves.
