We all love the Percy Jackson series, from its interesting characters to fascinating plot. However, I think Rick Riordan failed at one thing when writing this trilogy. There’s a certain god in Greek mythology called Koalemos, the Greek God of stupidity. Imagine how much funnier the story could have been if he had been he had been included! I think the Percy Jackson fandom would be so happy to see this come true. 

The original Percy Jackson series is long-written, and is in my opinion, already very good. However, I really don’t think this character was done enough justice due to his lack of portrayal in the series. The solution? It’s simple. Rick Riordan needs to take the time to write a short story dedicated to this character. Again, it doesn’t even need to be long, even 50-75 pages might be too much since that would be a substantial break from his current projects. I also think it should be set during the timeline of the first 5 books, because during that time Percy wasn’t really as acquainted with the Greek told and it still felt fresh when he met new powers. 

If this actually goes anywhere, it’ll be interesting to see what Rick comes up with. In my opinion, a story of trying to find a way to get this god to help the fight against Kronos would be interesting, similar to the Bronze Dragon in “The Demigod Files” for example. 

And please Rick don’t make us pay for this
