Ector county, Odessa animal control plus the local rescues are overflowing with animals. Innocent animals are being killed to make space for others. If you require all dogs and cats besides AKC registered animals to be spayed or neutered by 6 months and actually enforce it, the number of animals surrendered or dumped will be seriously reduced. The number that are found starving/shot/tortured/ran over and abandoned will be reduced as well. Please make this happen. These animals do not deserve to die.
