Include her as perhaps an ex-Jedi going by the name "Snips" as possibly a smuggler before revealing who she really is (in a similar manner as Yoda did to Luke) to Finn, comes out of hiding, joins the Resistance, and explains she was the apprentice of Luke Skywalker's father to where she trains either one of them and possibly ends up fighting Kylo Ren, grandson of her former and deceased Jedi master in order to overcome her guilt of leaving Anakin.
