Postpone Class of 2020 Graduation

Postpone Class of 2020 Graduation

The Issue

COVID-19 has led Rhode Island College to come to the decision of cancelling the class of 2020’s graduation ceremony to keep their students, family and faculty safe during this time.  While I’m sure we all understand the reasoning behind this, what we can’t seem to understand is why RIC gave no consideration in postponing the ceremony like other schools have already done.
The class of 2020 has worked to hard for Rhode Island College to just cancel their graduation with no consideration of postponing.  I’m here trying to make a change and give recognition to all who have worked so hard to get to this point, we cannot settle for this.  Help us in the fight to be able to walk the stage at a later date.
