Subject: Urgent Request for Additional Preparation Time for Final Year MBBS Examinations
Respected Sir/Madam,
We, the final-year MBBS students of final year MBBS, write this petition with the utmost respect and urgency, seeking your kind consideration regarding our upcoming university examinations.
Due to the delay in completing our third internal examinations, our preparation time for the final examinations has been significantly reduced. This has placed an immense burden on us, leading to extreme stress, anxiety, and an inability to focus effectively on our studies. The final year of MBBS is a defining moment in our journey toward becoming competent doctors, and the limited time available is severely impacting our ability to prepare adequately.
The current situation has not only affected our academic performance but has also taken a toll on our mental and physical well-being. Many of us are struggling with disrupted sleep patterns, loss of appetite, and overwhelming stress, all of which hinder our ability to concentrate and study efficiently. Given the gravity of this situation, we earnestly request an extension of 15 additional days—not more, not less—for exam preparation.
This extension would enable us to revise thoroughly, strengthen our clinical knowledge, and ultimately emerge as better doctors and clinicians. We are at the crucial threshold of fulfilling our lifelong dream of serving society as skilled and responsible medical professionals. Therefore, we humbly urge you to consider our plea not just as students but as future colleagues who will soon take on significant responsibilities in healthcare.
We sincerely hope you will acknowledge our distress and grant us this extension, which would make a significant difference in our ability to perform to the best of our potential. We would be profoundly grateful for your support and understanding in this critical matter.
Thanking you in anticipation.
