Brent and McKay Hatch of the No Cussing Club mocked and gained national attention as well as gained profit for their so called founding club. The father Brent Hatch utilized his son McKay as the poster boy to deceive the media and viewers of McKay coming up with the idea, however the original owner is Miss Tonya Ellington of the Stop Cussin Campaign/Ministry from the Bronx, NY. Her SCCM was spiritual birth in 2005 and executed with images, newsletters, merchandise, interviews, speaking engagements and workshops throughout different states in the USA. Miss Ellington caught wind of the Hatches in February of 2008 during their appearance on Dr. Phil show. Once obtaining their website Miss Ellington was appalled at witnessing statements made on their website was now on the Hatches No Cussing Club website. Miss Ellington contacted the Hatches through email first and then called Mr Hatch himself. Mr Hatch insulted Miss Ellington in telling her McKay would get more attention rather than her. He also tells her they can work together. Miss Ellington responded back to Mr. Hatch as anyone's project was flat out stolen. Miss Ellington contacted the media outlets, South Pasadena Officials, Kelly Crabb, Dr. Phil, Dr. Laura, the City of Mobile, Alabama and the school of Mobile, Alabama to inform them they had been deceived. Her calls went unanswered and the City of South Pasadena went ahead with giving them a No Cussing Club Resolution.   Now, eight years later and after raising her son as a retired single mother she is back to reclaim her rightful Proclamation. The Hatches profited from the entire SCC movement. The SCC was self financed. The movement purpose was and continue to be about giving back into the communities. Miss Ellington is demanding the City Council Officials revoke the NCC RESOLUTION and rename it to the SCC. Miss Ellington is also demanding a full investigation of the amount of monies the Hatches received through their deception. After the investigation is completed Miss Ellington is demanding the monies to be given to her to donate towards a charity of her choice.
