The Issue

I'm initiating this petition with a personal motivation rooted in the safety and well-being of the public. Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, also known as Tommy Robinson, is a dual citizen with an Irish passport and is currently residing in Spain. It has come to my attention - and undeniably the attention of many others - that his actions and influence create ripples that are not conducive to the public good of the United Kingdom, where he also holds citizenship.

In the UK, the Home Secretary has the power to strip a person of their British citizenship if they deem it beneficial for the public good. As per the British Nationality Act 1981, section 40(2), this measure is legally possible for a dual citizen such as Yaxley-Lennon. We, therefore, implore the Home Secretary to use this power in this instance.

Considering the said power resides within the Home Secretary and given the necessity to ensure the public good and safety of the UK, we urge the removal of Yaxley-Lennon's British citizenship and the placement of a persona non grata order upon him. This action would disallow him from entering the UK.

Please, stand with us today in prioritizing the safety and well-being of the general public over individual interests. Express your support for the revocation of Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon's British citizenship by signing this petition.
