I, along with my friends and a large portion of the fan base, feel deceived by Netease's handling of Lord of the Rings: Rise to War. We believe we have been victims of a bait-and-switch scam. They stole items we paid real money for and made what little they did leave us useless all to get more money while changing how the game works  fundamentally. Our anticipation for an immersive experience in Middle Earth was met with disappointment due to what we perceive as poor management and development decisions by Netease.

Lord of The Rings is not just a franchise; it is a legacy that has touched millions around the globe. It deserves respect and careful stewardship. Unfortunately, under Netease's control, this game has failed to live up to its potential or honor its source material.

Given these circumstances, we call upon the rights holders to reconsider their decision and revoke Netease's license for Lord of The Rings: Rise to War. This action would allow another developer who respects and understands the world J.R.R Tolkien created an opportunity to deliver an experience worthy of this beloved franchise.
