Revoke Justin Holder's Real Estate License in Murfreesboro, TN

Revoke Justin Holder's Real Estate License in Murfreesboro, TN
The Issue
Updated Petition: Protecting the Murfreesboro Real Estate Community
The Issue
This petition has been updated following new and serious developments: Justin Holder has now been indicted on multiple felony counts, including but not limited to sexual exploitation of a minor. This escalation makes it even more urgent for regulatory bodies to act. The public deserves immediate assurance that individuals facing such charges are not permitted to continue operating in positions of trust within the real estate industry.
These criminal charges come on top of multiple TREC and ethics complaints filed over the past year, as well as ongoing concerns about his conduct across the Real Estate, Title, and Mortgage sectors. Despite these complaints and investigations, Justin Holder continues to advertise his services across multiple locations and platforms, creating confusion about where he is actually authorized to practice and further eroding public trust.
For far too long, Justin Holder has wreaked havoc upon the real estate community in Murfreesboro, TN. His actions have consistently left a trail of chaos and fear. It is time to put an end to this relentless cycle of disruption and protect the citizens of our community.
A Pattern of Harm
For years, colleagues have reported unethical and aggressive behavior that has jeopardized careers and compromised client safety. Reports have included grooming colleagues, threats of revenge porn, harassment, intimidation, and threats of bodily injury and even death. These actions have harmed not only industry professionals but also the families who rely on trustworthy real estate guidance.
Many local families have been left feeling vulnerable and without proper recourse due to his manipulative tactics and disregard for real estate ethics. Homebuyers and sellers deserve to feel secure in their decisions, relying on ethical professionals committed to maintaining the integrity of their industry. Justin’s continuous exploitation of dozens of colleagues has left community members feeling vulnerable and unheard.
A Call for Immediate Action
Our community demands that regulatory bodies — including the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC), the Tennessee Association of Realtors (TAR), and MTAR (Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors) — conduct a swift and thorough review of all complaints and take immediate action.
Given the volume of complaints, the misleading advertising practices, the ongoing investigations, and now the severity of the criminal charges, we believe TREC has both the authority and the responsibility to act. The public is depending on TREC to expedite the process and suspend his license pending the outcome of the criminal trial.
This is no longer a routine administrative matter. It is a matter of public safety, professional accountability, and trust in TREC’s ability to protect Tennessee consumers.
Protecting Women in Real Estate
The current real estate ethics code leaves dozens of women feeling they cannot speak up for fear of losing their careers. This must change now. Women should never feel silenced when facing harassment.
We need clarification on whether reporting sexual harassment is protected and does not fall under prohibitions against “calling out” unethical behavior. We are calling on TREC, TAR, and MTAR to immediately review and modernize these ethics provisions so that women in real estate are protected, supported, and empowered to report misconduct without fear of retaliation.
We also demand a swift review of all complaints levied against Justin Holder and expect prompt action from the appropriate regulatory bodies. The public deserves transparency, accountability, and a clear demonstration that the real estate industry in Tennessee will not tolerate harassment, intimidation, or unethical conduct.
