My deep concern lies with the integrity of the education system and the reputation of prestigious scholarships like the Chevening Scholarship. Integrity should be the cornerstone of any scholar's pursuit of knowledge, and it is even more paramount for a scholar who is the recipient of a prestigious scholarship. They are, after all, representations of not just the institution but also the country they come from.

The case of Ms Loh Pei Ying, ex-Workers' Party secretarial assistant to disgraced ex-MP Raeesah Khan from Singapore stirs these concerns. Currently pursuing an MSc of MS, Data, Inequality and Society degree at the University of Edinburgh, Loh has previously been implicated in dishonest conduct detrimental to her credibility. 

This misconduct is a grave travesty, disrespecting not only the scholarship's name but also the good reputation of Singapore. The Chevening Scholarship deserves to be held in the hands of someone who embodies its principles and honours its code of conduct.

As such, we call upon the relevant authorities to revoke Loh Pei Ying's Chevening Scholarship. In this manner, we uphold the integrity of the award and ensure it remains a symbol of prestige and honour. It demands of us care, courage, and action to preserve its name.
