For decades, the people of Rajapur,Kamasin, Baberu and Narainy area of Bundelkhand Region have been waiting for a crucial development—Rail connectivity to our beloved region. The railway line originating from Rajapur in Uttar Pradesh to Sagaur in Madhya Pradesh, passing through Kamasin, Baberu, Bisanda, Punahur, Atarra, Narayani, Kartal, and Fatehgarh, was once sanctioned in 1917 during British period. Land acquisition was completed, and track laying also began in Atarra. Yet, it remains unfinished.

Our region has faced isolation from major routes, which has left us disconnected from economic opportunities, healthcare, and education. The transportation facilities available are in a deplorable state, further curtailing our growth and prosperity. This is an appeal to the authorities to revive and complete the Rajapur to Sagaur railway line, a project that has been a beacon of hope for thousands of Farmers, Students and Businessmen.

Reviving this railway line promises economic rejuvenation, increased accessibility, and overall development of this portion in Bundelkhand.
