In our society today, we are killing what it means to be an American citizen, not only is this the land of opportunity but we also wish to give hope to those who are hopeless.  The Dream Act is a perfect solution to those who are doing wonderfully in the U.S. and are trying to make something of themselfs. 

I am not fully educated on the Dream Act itself, but I do know that it is a wonderful opportunity for those who want to become an American citizen.  If you want to learn and understand the Dream Act, you can google it and read about it yourself. 

I know many are against this but we have to realize that we owe it to the immgrants.  We promise to show a democracy, but in my opinion this isnt being a democracy.  We cant call ourselves the land of opportunity if we dont give others the opportunity to become legal Americans.
