Revive the decision to apply the Lakeville logo on the Steve Michaud water tower

Last summer in 2023, the city was going to apply the Lakeville logo on the Steve Michaud water tower, when they went to repaint it. However, according to existing homeowners who didn’t want the logo and sent the city two comments about it, regarding when it was originally built in 1995 without the logo, the city decided not to apply the logo, which really bummed me out.

To be honest, in my opinion, without the logo on that tower, I would think that tower is just property of the park it’s located in. I’ve always wondered what that tower would look like with the logo on it. I even sent Emails to the city about it.

What those homeowners should know is a logo on the water tower would mean that the water supply in that tower belongs to the city and its residents. The logo does not have to be a waste of money, considering the city gets paid all the time, and anything people do for their city saves money.

I urge the city to get back to their decision to apply the Lakeville logo on the Steve Michaud Park water tower. I also urge the existing homeowners to reconsider their decision to have the city not paint the Lakeville logo on the Steve Michaud Park water tower (at least when they’re ready).
