As a student body, we believe that our current Ridge Time is limiting our opportunities to explore and improve our academic and extracurricular portfolios. We believe that Tuesday through Thursday (in addition to existing Friday club days) during Ridge Time, students should have the opportunity to take part in any club they want instead of having no choice but to go to a specific class. This way students are not limited to one or two clubs due to lack of days to participate. Monday would remain an informational day in our original Ridge Time class. Students who do not participate in multiple clubs would also have the option to attend study sessions with teachers of their choice. Our goal is to get at least a quarter of the school to sign this petition, and if so, we would greatly appreciate your consideration of a revised Ridge Time schedule.
