The government has silenced him with a 3-year prison sentence for simply exercising his right to express his views. This petition serves as an outcry against such injustice. For a government that ceases to provide transparency and suppresses the truth is not serving its people but its interests.

The UK upholds freedom of speech as a fundamental right, as per Article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998. It seems, however, that this right was glossed over in the case of Mr. O'Rourke.
