I and a large majority of the Overwatch 2 community believe that a lot was changed for no good reason. One of the changes was involving ranked icons. The change I am talking about is the new design for ranked icons and it went from smooth, sleek, and clean to big, chunky, and over-detailed. Not only that they made it impossible to see what rank someone is by hiding your rank when you're in a competitive game, they stated that this is to reduce toxicity but they added scoreboards showing everyone's stats. There still is a way to see it but people need to have their career profile public. In Overwatch 1 if you clicked on a player's profile it would show their rank alongside their SR [Seasonal Ranking] number. SR categories were ranked 0-500 [0-1,499 bronze, 1,500-1,999 silver, 2,000-2,500 gold, etc.]. The first 100 digits were considered low ranking in your rank, 200-400 was medium, and 400-500 was high. They changed the system to skill divisions [div 1, div 2, div 3, etc.] but you can't even see what another player's division is even if they have a public profile you still can barely see the little number under their ranking, just barely though.
