Revert Hokui's new management requirements

The Issue

As a dedicated member of the management team at Hokui, I've found immense value and satisfaction in contributing my time and effort to ensure the café runs smoothly. However, recent changes in management requirements have put an undue burden on us, especially considering that we do not receive payment for our services.

The new policy mandates that each member of the management team must shift for at least 60 minutes daily, with no more than a two-day gap in between working days. This is an unrealistic expectation for many of us who juggle personal responsibilities, academic pursuits, or other commitments. Flexibility has always been one of the key reasons I've been able to maintain my role, and without it, maintaining this balance becomes challenging.

Additionally, we are now required to wear the management uniform at all times while shifting at the café. The uniform, though symbolically important, does not consider the comfort or convenience of those who volunteer their time.

Furthermore, the new policies have decreased the allowable length for inactivity notices from one month to one week. We are also restricted to only one inactivity notice per current rank, which is incredibly limiting. For those of us who may face unexpected life changes or challenges, this could mean unnecessary stress and anxiety, ultimately leading to burnout and decreased morale.

These stringent requirements do not acknowledge the effort and dedication we already invest in our roles. Instead of improving environment and efficacy, they create an environment of pressure and inflexibility.

I am calling upon the management of Hokui to reconsider these new requirements. We need a system that appreciates our voluntary work, respects our time, and considers the diverse circumstances of each team member.

If you support fostering a flexible and fair environment for Hokui's management team, please sign this petition. Together, we can advocate for a more accommodating approach that benefits everyone involved. Thank you for your support.
