Revert hillbrook school's logo

Revert hillbrook school's logo
The Issue
Fellow community members, look at this petition. Do you want this logo?
We have known for a while that Hillbrook has been in the process of rebranding. The question is, why? Throughout the decades, Hillbrook has had logo changes. And that’s understandable. The times have changed, the school has evolved, and the logo has evolved along with it. But this isn’t a modernization. It’s not an iteration. It’s not a logo design change. It’s a full rebrand. And by rebranding, they’re doing away with the banners we’ve rallied around for decades. The navy blue on white. The tree, not just a representation of the Lower School, Middle School, or Upper School, but of the vision Hillbrook is built on. Gone.
And the branding itself. Our current brand feels distinctly Hillbrook, a representation of us as a community. Not the new one. It feels forced, not a true representation of us. We, as members of the community request that the school keep its current branding. Adjustments and modernization, sure. The “90” was a fine example of appropriate iteration. But please, keep our symbols. Our brand needs to feel special to, and be loved by us. The community members. Thank you.
