Petition to Reinstate Wise Kidz Inc.
To the New York City Department of Education:

We, the undersigned parents, families, and community members, are writing to express our deep concern and dissatisfaction with the recent suspension of Wise Kidz Inc., located at 5814 Fort Hamilton Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11219. This abrupt decision has caused severe disruption to the lives of 160 children and their families, leaving us without a reliable childcare or schooling option for our children.

As working parents, we now face an impossible situation, forced to scramble for alternatives on short notice, which has created significant financial strain, emotional stress, and a lack of educational continuity for our children. Wise Kidz Inc. has always been a trusted, safe, and nurturing environment for our children, known for its quality of care, supervision, and positive impact on the community.

The suspension, allegedly due to “inadequate child supervision,” is inconsistent with the experiences and trust we have built with the staff and administration at Wise Kidz. We recognize that any concerns raised should be investigated, but the decision to suspend the entire school without allowing for corrective measures or a reasonable review process is unnecessarily harsh and disproportionate.

The families of Wise Kidz are left without viable options, and our children are the ones suffering the most. This decision has destabilized their education, routine, and emotional well-being. Many of us depend on Wise Kidz not just as a childcare provider but as a cornerstone of early childhood education in our community.

We call upon the New York City Department of Education to:

Immediately reinstate Wise Kidz Inc. so the children can return to their familiar and supportive learning environment.
Conduct any necessary investigations without disrupting operations, allowing the school to make corrections or improvements while remaining open.
Engage directly with the parents and families to ensure that our voices are heard and considered in this matter, as we are most affected by this decision.
This closure has placed an unfair burden on the families and children who rely on Wise Kidz, and we ask that this situation be addressed with the urgency and care it demands.

We ask the Department of Education to reverse this decision to benefit the children, families, and the entire community.
