I am 53 years old, I have always worked and like many thousands of others in England when I started working I was promised a retirement age of 65. This has been steadily increased over the last few years to 67 then 68 and now 71. 
I am now facing a further 6 years of work before a well earned retirement. I have also lost 6 years of pension which I have been paying into for my entire working life. 
I understand that pension for the retired has to be funded by the government from  taxes being paid by those of us who are currently working, but many thousands of us are being penalised simply because of when we were born. This is grossly unfair and needs to be addressed and rectified. 
Please sign my petition if you agree and are also being unfairly penalised.
