Reverse the Unjust Expulsion of Nevaeh Riddick from First Colonial High School

The Issue

Nevaeh Riddick, a diligent and esteemed student at First Colonial High School, has been the victim of an unjust expulsion. Ever since her first day at our institution, Nevaeh has been an exemplary part of our student body, earning the respect of both peers and faculty members alike. However, she is now facing punishments and sanctions that she should not be subject to in light of a misguided and incorrect expulsion.

I made this petition she’s being kicked out from the academy for a reason that’s not her fault. A student was copying off of her ap euro note packet today during AP seminar and she did not know it was happening, the student has admitted that he did not ask for permission first and Nevaeh is now being kicked out of the academy because this is technically her second time getting in trouble.

It is crucial to ensure that all disciplinary actions taken within an educational context are fair, accurate, and evidence-based. According to the Department of Education, wrongful expulsions can cause significant harm, leading students to become disenfranchised and dramatically decreasing their likelihood for academic success. As such, the wrongfully accused should always be given the opportunity to clear their name.

It is our plea that the decision to expel Nevaeh Riddick is rightfully reconsidered, offering her the chance to continue her education without an unjust blemish on her school record. We firmly believe in Nevaeh's innocence and are confident that upon a proper review of the case, her good standing within the school community will be reinstated.

As a students of the Legal Studies academy, we are taught that it is our right to advocate for what is and what is not right. I firmly believe this decision is wrongful and needs to be reversed. Nevaeh Riddick was not given a voice, so please, let us be her voice.

Stand with us in demanding that this unfounded expulsion be overturned. Sign this petition to support Nevaeh Riddick and to protect the rights of all students against unjust expulsions.
