Thanks to fear mongering and decisions made without proper scientific study,  a group comprised of people with little to no experience with reptiles, has banned the keeping, breeding and sales of certain reptiles in the state. 

 As a keeper and hobby breeder of two types of the banned animals, I feel we were unjustly punished due to lack of knowledge on the Board of Natural Resources. Until proper studies are done and honest facts have been gathered, this is an overreach and should not be implemented!

 At this point, a bureaucratic board of non-elected people who has no one in oversight and answers to no one but Governor Brian Kemp has essentially killed the dreams of thousands on people who keep these reptiles as pets, make a living off raising  and breeding reptiles (legally. I might add) for the pet trade.

 For that reason, the Board is making honest, responsible keepers look like criminals and negligent and irredponsible. We are not Florida... We do not have the same environment as Florida.. Help us reverse this unjust and unfounded reptile ban!
