Reverse the Paramount/WB Merger!
The Issue
Look, we all know Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox was terrible. But as bad as that merger was, that’s honestly something we should’ve expected, given that Disney has owned Fox Family Worldwide since 2001. As much as I want Disney to disown that studio, there was unfortunately nothing I can do.
Paramount’s acquisition of Warner Bros., however, is worse than Disney owning Fox, because David Ellison committed a crime that not even Disney could ever commit: breaking antitrust laws! The Ellisons are already in debt, so the Paramount/WB merger was already doomed from the beginning. Oh, and the new “Skydance” name? Really, Ellison?? Because nobody with any common sense wants this merger to happen at all.
So many people all over the world are falling for Ellison’s mindless tricks just so he can have Paramount’s “long-time dream acquisition”. No, we will never allow it, especially after the Quiet On Set docudrama that exposes the darker actions against Nickelodeon, Paramount, and ex-producer Dan Schneider.
Sega would have to cancel their deal, because of this. I think Sam Register needs to return, and be the new CEO of Warner Bros., because David Zaslav wanted a way to destroy Warner Bros.! I went as far as to finally get a chance to watch Coyote vs. Acme on the big screen, and I loved it! It really shows how corporate Paramount and WB have become. I knew I wasn’t the first, nor only one to go see that movie, but I’m glad I got a chance to see it. David Ellison has become a worse fusion of Judge Doom and Buddy Crane!
Cartoon Network was my favorite channel growing up, and I don’t ever want it to go bankrupt! Plus, didn’t Nickelodeon reject shows that Cartoon Network pick up like Adventure Time, the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Ed, Edd n Eddy? Do you know how many talented artists and animators are being screwed over, after putting all their hearts and souls into various works??!! This is especially worse than seeing people defend a show like the Problem Solverz, because that show was made by a pop artist who pitched said show to Adult Swim back in 2008.
Skydance owning both Warner Bros. and Paramount is an absolute nightmare that’s destroying Hollywood, and the entertainment industry as we know it! Yes, far more than Disney owning 20th Century Fox! I can guarantee you that nothing good will ever come out of that horrendous merger! We have to make the merger even more unsuccessful!
