As a West Haven native, I've always cherished the tales of our past, especially recalling the days of Savin Rock Amusement Park. Having personally encountered a resident who experienced West Haven in its glory during the 1940s, I found myself longing for the revitalization of our beloved boardwalk. An integral step in this process is the establishment of the NEBCO business near Jimmies, which has unfortunately been denied.

The presence of NEBCO could remarkably contribute to the local economy, as well as enhance the scenic value of West Haven's waterfront area. Businesses like NEBCO are known to boost local employment rates and overall economic stability.

However, despite these potential benefits, the city has refrained from granting NEBCO the permission to establish their business. Residents are baffled by this decision, considering how impactful this would be on transforming and beautifying our boardwalk.
