Throughout my years of college, President Berry has been a steadfast leader who has greatly impacted our university. His unwavering support for all students is unparalleled, making him the most compelling president the University of Louisiana, Monroe (ULM) has ever had, in my opinion.

President Berry's departure from his position is a significant loss for our institution. The leadership he provided and the supportive environment he fostered were indispensable assets to the university. It is critical now, more than ever, to have an experienced leader who genuinely cares about the welfare of the students. Removing President Berry from his post has repercussions that reach beyond the present time; it can lead to a decline in the quality of education and to a less inclusive university environment.

We, as members of the university community, urge the board of the University of Louisiana, Monroe (ULM) to reconsider their decision and restore President Berry to his rightful position. Our university needs his leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to students.
