Reverse the Closure of Bodybuilding.com Forums
Reverse the Closure of Bodybuilding.com Forums
The Issue
I am one of the many members, known as "miscers", of the bodybuilding.com forums. This online community has meant so much to me over the years. Not only has it served as a platform for sharing valuable fitness tips and information, but it has also created a strong, supportive community uniting people with similar interests across the globe.
For many, the forums represent more than just a hobby. They are the longest-running bodybuilding and fitness forums on the internet, with thousands of threads and millions of posts. It's a testament to the power of the internet and community-building. Removing them would cut us off from the shared knowledge and connectivity we have come to treasure.
Unfortunately, the forum was recently shutdown in a move that has left many of us reeling. We understand that websites need to evolve over time, but removing a community space without a proper alternative does not sit well with us. The rich database of collective wisdom available on these forums is unparalleled.
Our request is simple: we ask that bodybuilding.com reverse the decision to close down the forums or, at the very least, provide an alternative platform where we can continue to gather and learn from one another. We believe in the value this community provides and we hope you do, too.
Help us keep this long-lasting community alive. Sign this petition today.
