Reverse Liverpool FC's Home Ticket Price Raise

Reverse Liverpool FC's Home Ticket Price Raise
The Issue
In football, home ticket sales only generate less than one-fifth of total revenue per year, an insignificant amount compared to the money gained from sponsorships and position prize money. However, FSG, the owners of Liverpool FC, have decided to raise home ticket prices for the next 3 seasons, despite previous opposition against doing so.
One of the major fan groups of Liverpool FC, Spirit of Shankly, organized a protest against the planned ticket price-raising by withdrawing all flags from the Kop. However, even after this, Billy Hogan (one of Liverpool's CEOs), wrote a half-baked explanation as to why ticket prices are rising. Fans are not pleased, and another protest (with the raising of yellow A4 pieces of paper to "Show the Yellow Card") is planned for Liverpool's next home game against Fulham.
I am starting this petition because I believe genuine supporters of the club should not be priced out of watching the game they love. Working-class citizens are a large part of who built Liverpool FC in the first place, both in the city of Liverpool and around the world. We fans should not have to take a collective 2 million dollars (per year!) out of our pockets to satiate the pockets of those who can spend 200 million dollars a summer.
Say NO to Anfield ticket price rises!
