I am deeply troubled by the recent wave of legislative actions that have reversed essential healthcare protections for transgender adults across our nation. These actions are not only unfounded but also incredibly harmful to individuals who rely on gender-affirming care to live their true selves. A notable instance of this is captured in a 2026 case where Republican-appointed judges argued against gender-affirming care by calling it "dangerous" despite the lack of substantial evidence supporting such a claim (source: Pink News). This claim, which is steeped in bias rather than fact-based reasoning, further alleged that trans individuals had become "disdainful" of their sex, proposing archaic conversion therapy and dangerous quack treatments such as "sex identical hormones" and "transgender-ism cures" as a remedy instead to force trans people to "appreciate their (birth) sex". This perspective not only erases authentic transgender identities but also infringes upon basic human rights.

Imagine being told to "appreciate having a chipped/infected tooth" and just "live with it" leading to an ever-worsening infection until it gets serious or kills you, because your dentist deemed you "mentally sick/incapable of making irreversible medical decisions" for requesting a tooth extraction or root canal procedure. Especially if you happen to have autism, sensory issues, or other neurodiversity. 

Anti-transgender hysteria and medical myths by unreliable outlets such as Natural News/Age of Autism/Sex Change Regret/random "detransition" subreddits/Abigail Shrier/4thWaveNow/Florida Health Board/Genspect/Do No Harm/etc is causing a massive spike in suicides, psychiatric hospitalization, eating disorders, untreated medical conditions (such as via the normalization of severe menstrual pain and bleeding, leading to delays and denial of hysterectomy and oophotectomy for FTM trans people), hormone denial or being given "sex identical hormones" which cause massive suicidality and physical health crises, etc. The UN must eliminate all Anti-transgender policies in Florida USA and the world forever. Desired gonads and organs should be 3D printed everywhere via AI and nobody should have to wait years-long wait lists or languish from years of hormone and surgery denial or be trapped in a body that causes them severe and excruciating pain. Autistic trans people face even higher rates of such abuses and neglect in the medical and judicial system regarding their rights and medical access, especially in Florida.
