Reunite Owen with his mom.

Reunite Owen with his mom.
The Issue
Honorable Judge Maritza Antu,
Sabrina Ould Matouk a mother of a little boy named Owen.
On May 12, 2022 she needed to buy Owen shoes and proceeded to the mall, leaving him asleep in the car. She made sure the air conditioner was on and his dad was watching over him live via FaceTime.
On her way back from the store, she saw police officers waiting for her by the car. They arrested her and took her to jail and Owen was placed under the Child Protection Services’ supervision.
Sabrina is diabetic type B and use insulin . When in jail she was denied her medication until she collapsed and was taken to the emergency room, where after examination she was placed in the Intensive Care Unit for a few days until her health stabilized and she was able to regain some of her strength.
While at the hospital she was released from jail under bond, but still could not have access to her son as there was criminal charges from the State of Texas against her.
Sabrina is an active member of the Algerian community in North America. She always been helping people in need, and fundraising for different worthy causes. So the Community rallied her and was able to raise over $35,000 to hire lawyers and help Sabrina get her son back.
In this petition, we are appealing to whomever knows Sabrina through the years, was touched by her kindness and generosity, anyone who can attest that she is a loving and caring mother and that Owen was in good care with her, to sign the petition to help Sabrina regain full custody of her beloved son.
Preventing her from having her child can only have detrimental effects on both of them. It’s not justice served It’s punishing innocent Owen and denying him access to the most important person in his life.
Sabrina, never been an abusive mother. She made a huge mistake that she regretted, paid for it dearly and is trying to atone for it.
We, the signers of the petition, beseech you to not punish Owen by preventing him from being with his mom, they are both under tremendous pain and suffering due to this restriction imposed, and Sabrina is not a threat to little Owen’s well-being and safety.
We all witnessing pain and suffering of Owen & Sabrina; seeing how much Owen misses his mother, and how broken Sabrina is when she comes to visit him.
Please allow Sabrina to be reunited with her son as so.
Sincerely,
Adel khechana.
