Return of the Nativity

Return of the Nativity
The Issue
Over the last few years we have noticed a minimal number of Christian themed Christmas resources available for sale in retail outlets and online stores. Where there have been some available they tend to be very old fashioned and "traditional", with the exception of specialist Christian shops and online retailers. In 2022 the challenge seems to be even more difficult, with early indications being that there are few if any Christian themed goods available for sale. This extends not only to decorations but also to craft outlets and it is beginning to feel that Christians are being discriminated against for what is, for many, one of the largest faith celebrations of the year (with the exception of Easter).
Will you join the campaign to encourage manufacturers, and retailers to supply Christian themed goods to their shelves including, and in particular, those featuring the nativity (in particular Mary, Joseph and Jesus)? We appreciate that not everyone is Christian and that we live in a multi-faith society but in conversations with people of other faiths they appreciate and expect us to celebrate our festival seasons appropriately. This is difficult when there are very few, if any, resources available. We are not trying to wipe out the sales of snowmen, polar bears, penguins, Santa, elves etc but there is a huge gap in the market which manufacturers and retailers could tap in to if they only tried.
Please sign this petition which will be used to support the argument to increase the number of Christian themed goods available at Christmas and give Christians the rights they feel they deserve rather than feeling discriminated against.
