As members of the Smoke Rise community and parents of children enrolled in the school, we are deeply concerned about the  closing of the account and transfer of $14,076.30 from the PTO funds to the Principal's Discretionary Account without proper voting and consent from those in the Principal Advisory Council or previous PTO Executive Committee Members. This action undermines trust and transparency within our school system.

Additionally, we demand accountability for District leaders involved in meetings on 3/21 at our school who failed to stop a meeting intended to humiliate parents with false accusations of malfeasance. Their lack of action is unacceptable and has caused significant distress within our community.

We urge you to sign this petition to ensure that these funds are returned promptly to the newly formed Smoke Rise Elementary PTO and that those responsible for these actions are held accountable. Your support is crucial in restoring integrity and trust within our school's administration.
