School Superintendent Dr. Feagins has been carrying out commendable work in Memphis schools, which has greatly contributed to the advancement and improvement of our education system. Our community has seen continuous progress under her leadership, marked by a significant increase in graduation rates as well as improvement in students' performance, as evidenced by the most recent State Report Card. Her dedication, innovation, and student-centric policies have not only elevated the standards of education in our district but also inspired our students to aspire for more. Despite these successes, it has come to our attention that there may be plans to terminate her services. We strongly object to such plans as they negate the proven passion and ability of a dedicated educator who has devoted her career to the betterment of our schools and students. We therefore petition for Dr. Feagins to remain in her current position, continuing her great work, and driving our education system forward in Memphis.
