We, the familes of Ms. Merdas 1st grade Hermosa View class, are petitioning to retain  our wonderful teacher, Ms. Merda. Our children have have been lucky to  have  the opportunity to learn and grow under her guidance, and we cannot imagine our school experience without her.

Ms. Merda has proven to be a valuable asset to our district and community.  She shows up for the games, the performances and the kids not only in school but outside of school.  She has become such an integral part of our community and removing her from our school would be detrimental to the learning environment she has helped create.

We understand that decisions regarding staffing are complex and often difficult; however, we believe that retaining Ms.Merda is in the best interest of our children and our community as a whole.

Let us stand together for what we believe is right for our children’s education and future! Sign this petition to urge the Hermosa Beach School District to allow Ms.McKenna Merda stay as a teacher in our district.
