Our beloved teacher, Mrs. D, has been a beacon of light in the Pre-School 2 classroom at Primrose School of Chapel Hill at Briar Chapel. Her dedication and passion have significantly impacted not only our children but also us as families. The sudden announcement of her reassignment has left us feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Mrs. D's teaching methods have proven to be effective and beneficial for our children's development. According to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), consistency in early childhood education is crucial for building secure relationships and promoting learning (NAEYC). With this abrupt change, we fear that this consistency will be disrupted.

We understand that changes are sometimes necessary in an educational setting; however, we believe that such decisions should involve input from both teachers and parents who are directly affected by these changes.

We urge the administration to reconsider their decision about Mrs. D's reassignment from the Pre-School 2 classroom. We believe retaining her in her current position would best serve our children’s educational needs while respecting the voices of teachers and parents alike.
