Our brother, Daylin Taylor, is more than just a  Teammate to me. He is our teammate, our friend, who is currently facing an unjust situation at Heritage High School. Daylin acted only in self-defense, a fundamental right of every human being, but is now being wrongly targeted. He has been an integral part of our school community, contributing not just in academics but also in extracurricular activities. His potential removal from the school would not only negatively affect his future, but it would also have a profound impact on the entire school community that values him greatly. Therefore, I urge you, the educational authorities, to reconsider the decision and to acknowledge the context of Daylin's actions.
