Our residential road (The Paddocks, Weybridge, KT13) is in desperate state beyond repair and patching up - potholes everywhere, some are very deep and will soon cause an accident when cycled or driven over. I personally have already caused myself an ankle strain running over one during my evening exercise routine, my husband fell of his bicycle twice when hit these potholes, other residents have reported their accidents and concerns too. We are a cluster of residential homes, a quiet neighbourhood with many young families with kids. I am a concerned mother of two young children, who soon will be using the road to walk their daily school commute, many families are doing so already. The road is so poor that an accident is not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN. We have asked council and written to transport minister, with very little result. We are asking council to make it their priority and resurface the main stretch of the Paddocks road before the risk of being injured becomes a sad reality.
