I've experienced firsthand the consequences of the deteriorating condition of Cholmondeley Road. Just recently, my car was damaged due to the unavoidable potholes scattered along this road. Each day brings a new challenge not just for vehicle owners, but for all road users, as drivers swerve to avoid the potholes, creating hazardous situations, especially for pedestrians. 

This issue is particularly pressing given the road's proximity to Light Oaks Primary School. Parents and children walking to the school are at constant risk as cars dangerously manoeuvre around these potholes. The existing road condition threatens the safety of families and their children on a daily basis.

Statistics have shown that poorly maintained roads, like Cholmondeley Road, contribute significantly to vehicular damages and accidents. Such infrastructure issues need prompt action from the local authorities. We call upon the Salford local council to prioritise resurfacing Cholmondeley Road, ensuring a safer environment for all.

By fixing this road, we can prevent future accidents, safeguard the wellbeing of pedestrians and motorists, and improve the quality of our local infrastructure. This is not just a plea for repair; it's a demand for safety.
