Therefore, it is necessary for zoos to focus their resources on aiding animals in distress and build enclosures that mimic their natural habitats as closely as possible.

Simultaneously, we must demand that authorities regulate the acquisition of animals by these establishments. It's time to shift the zoos' purpose from revenue generation through public display towards a more significant role in wildlife conservation and animal rehabilitation.
