Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Vanderbilt Recreation Center opened at 5 am. Currently, the Rec Center opens at 7 am - reducing the total open hours and leading to congestion throughout the rest of the day. We seek to restore Rec Center hours to pre-covid standards. Increased Rec Center hours will reduce congestion, leave room for physically distancing, and promote physical and mental health on campus.
