Every year, the Philippines faces an average of 20 typhoons, causing serious damage to communities. Families lose their homes, children’s education is disrupted, and many people struggle to get enough food. Unfortunately, USAID has reduced the funding it provides for climate disaster relief. This could make it even harder for communities in the Philippines to recover. That’s why I created this petition to call for increased USAID funding for climate disaster relief. (:
