While I have no issues with the Nintendo Switch, I also think the Wii and 3DS are great too. When they stopped supporting those two systems(even though they were very successful), it was very disappointing. My main issue with this decision is that people may resort to piracy to play certain games on these consoles. Some have resorted to Homebrew programs to play Wii or 3DS games, and are willing to violate Nintendo's Terms of Service to preserve the consoles. The worst part is that multiple YouTube video tutorials show viewers how to hack their consoles and pirate games. And piracy not only harms Nintendo but also those who engage in it. People who pirate to access 3DS and Wii online shops risk serious trouble, or worse. And given how much Switch games cost, the decision may cause Nintendo to lose consumers. I understand Nintendo's stance on piracy, so I hope this concern is addressed. Please take a moment to consider your reasons for signing this petition whenever you have the chance.
