I - along with countless other loyal fans - fell in love with the original VeggieTales, vividly remembering the lessons, laughs, and light it brought into our lives. Our fond feelings, however, can't be mirrored onto the new VeggieTales; it has become a hollow shell of its former self. One of the biggest distresses is the distinct absence of Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki, the creative wizards behind the show who made it what it was. The lack of their involvement in the series is detrimental to the overall charm and essence that made VeggieTales so unique and beloved.

According to Mike and Phil themselves, all they wanted was more creative freedom - something that the powers that be at NBC Universal could easily grant. By doing so, it's quite likely NBC Universal would reap financial benefits as well, possibly beyond their current assessments. Allowing the creators the freedom they need might ensure the reemergence of the magic that the original VeggieTales carried, subsequently drawing back the huge disheartened fan base.

Our request is simple yet potent: Bring back the original VeggieTales, complete with its ensemble cast, and most importantly, the guiding hands of Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki. Allow them the breathing room for creativity that they desire, to re-infuse their brilliance into the show, oozing nostalgia and authenticity, which we have longed for far too long.
