As a devoted festival-goer and supporter of the vibrant culture of Cebu City, I have experienced firsthand the inconvenience caused by the current SRP route for our beloved Sinulog Festival. This change has not only affected me but also many other participants and spectators who cherish this annual event.

The original route along General Maxilom Ave and Osmeña Blvd is deeply ingrained in our city's history. It is where we have celebrated, danced, and expressed our faith for many years. The change to the SRP route has created logistical issues, making it difficult for both dancers and spectators to fully participate in this cherished event.

Moreover, according to local surveys conducted among festival attendees over recent years, a significant majority preferred the traditional route due to its accessibility and historical significance.

We believe that restoring the original street dancing route would not only honor our tradition but also provide convenience for all participants. Therefore, we urge both the Sinulog Foundation and Cebu City Government to reconsider their decision.

Let us bring back our beloved tradition where it truly belongs - on General Maxilom Ave and Osmeña Blvd.
