I'm a colorblind individual who, along with my family, is keen on Dr. Pepper Cherry. We loved the original dark green color of the cans, which was a distinctive feature that allowed me to distinguish it from the regular Dr. Pepper. The recent change to a red-colored can has been disorienting for me, triggering confusion that could interfere with my enjoyment of this soda.

This shift in color scheme is not just a matter of aesthetic preference - it hinders the accessibility of the product for colorblind people like myself. With approximately 300 million people worldwide experiencing colorblindness according to Colour Blind Awareness, this is not a minor concern.

Dr. Pepper Cherry's unique and identifiable packaging was a part of its charm and we believe that reverting to the old color will not just help the colorblind community, but would also prevent confusion among regular consumers who differentiate the regular Dr. Pepper and its cherry variety through their distinctive packaging.
