We the undersigned

Protest the removal of the histories of military women from Department of Defense and related websites. Women have defended this nation and risked their lives in battle since the Revolutionary War. The recent editing and disappearance of websites recounting their accomplishments as trailblazers in making for a stronger national defense denigrates the service and sacrifices of hundreds of thousands of enlisted women and officers in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard, along with veterans and retirees. These women deserve to be celebrated as much as the men who have honorably served this country in peacetime and in war. We demand that the histories of these valiant women be restored.
