Restore the Fetishcon Lobby at the Hilton Hotel

Restore the Fetishcon Lobby at the Hilton Hotel
The Issue
We, the undersigned, are passionate attendees and supporters of Fetishcon, a beloved event that has provided an unparalleled platform for networking, creativity, and fun within the fetish community. We are writing to express our deep concern over the recent changes to the Hilton hotel's lobby during Fetishcon and to petition for the restoration of its former environment, which was crucial to the event's success.
The Lobby's Former Glory: A Hub for Networking and Creativity
The Hilton hotel's lobby at Fetishcon was once the single best networking opportunity in the fetish industry. It served as a quiet, central spot away from the hustle and bustle of the convention floor, offering plenty of comfortable seating where attendees naturally congregated. This unique setting facilitated countless business connections and collaborations, leading to the creation of numerous clips for Clips4Sale and the birth of many successful studios. The lobby was not just a meeting place; it was a breeding ground for innovation and creativity.
Recent Changes Have Detracted from the Experience
Unfortunately, the recent changes to the lobby have rendered it useless for networking and severely diminished the overall experience for Fetishcon attendees. The removal of most seats, the turning off of lights (including blocking windows), and the blasting of loud music have transformed what was once a lively and engaging space into an unwelcoming environment.
Loss of Fun and Spontaneity
The lobby used to be an incredibly fun area where guests of the hotel could unwind and enjoy spontaneous interactions. The attendees of Fetishcon, including fetish performers, porn stars, and enthusiasts, come from all over the world, investing thousands of dollars to be part of this unique community. The lobby was a place where the fun got wild, and memorable moments were made.
Over-Management and Loss of Authenticity
The current state of the lobby, now micromanaged by the Vice President of Operations of Clips4Sale, has replaced spontaneous, exciting interactions with a regimented schedule of corporate-approved activities such as Karaoke and Burlesque shows. What once felt like the most fun partying on the planet now resembles a corporate office party, devoid of the vibrant spontaneity that made it special.
The Lobby Belongs to the Guests
The convention floor is massive and separate from the hotel lobby. No other convention has overstepped to the extent of taking over the guest area of the host hotel. The hotel amenities, bar, restaurant, and lobby should belong to the paying guests of the hotel, not the convention sponsor. If Clips4Sale wishes to host planned activities, the convention space is more than sufficient, allowing attendees the choice of whether or not to participate.
A Call for Restoration
Had the lobby always been in its current state, many Clips4Sale studios would never have been established, and countless clips would never have been produced. We urge Clips4Sale to consider the impact of these changes and to restore the lobby to its former glory. Let us bring back the vibrant, spontaneous, and welcoming atmosphere that made Fetishcon such a unique and successful event.
By signing this petition, we express our desire to see the Fetishcon lobby restored as a space for genuine networking, creativity, and fun. We believe that with your support, we can return to an environment that fosters the true spirit of Fetishcon.
Please sign this petition to bring back our cherished Fetishcon lobby!
