We need boots on the ground for 1000

Hello everyone. The petition has been growing on its own and my jaw has dropped several times already. It’s a small push to 200, and a big one to 1000.

I was contacted by our local newspaper the Port Townsend Leader for a story! So things will be getting a boost in exposure. Please keep an eye out. I’ve also noticed everyone circulating the petition on social media as well. Amazing work!

If everyone who signed sets a personal goal to share the QR code or link with 5 to 6 people (in person or via text), we will be at our goal of 1000 in no time!

Some folks may not be directly inside Port Townsend, and those signatures may not be counted yet they still matter. Every signature represents someone who sees the need and is connected to members of our community. Members who share our sentiment, but are not yet informed.

So please do give this petition another push, and make it a matter of county conversation. Small efforts like these are how a democracy greases its wheels and we all have a self sovereign right to stand up for what is right within ourselves.

For those that don’t already know. I will be honest again and say… I would run for strong mayor and fix a bunch of issues. But! This petition goes far before me getting off of food stamps. Haha. This is about restoring our ability to vote for city leadership. So any leader is directly accountable to the public, and a fit for what’s really happening.

In short… if you are ok with what I’ve told you, please keep pushing!
