Transparent Edit: Perfecting the Language

Hello everyone. At 156 signatures. A local friend has informed me that there are some efforts being made to block the petition due to the legal language being slightly inaccurate.

I have updated the petition to add proper language and law citations without removing any of the original text. 

Of course everyone understands what we are doing, a petition has a right to evolve as long as the original intention is upheld, and clearly blocking or throwing out a petition over small details is an exploitation of legal know how over the intentions and efforts of ordinary citizens.

Throwing out this petition would neither be in the spirit of democracy, nor demonstrate that the “forces that be” are here to nurture the public interest. Nevertheless, the vulnerability is closed.

I can clearly see just how much of the system we are exposing in our town. Our growing number is a statement.
